Shachin Tendulkar The God of Cricket, Shachin Tendulkar born 24 April 1973. This little master is popular all over the world. He is regarded as one of the greatest batsman in cricket world. Shachin has a lots recorded in cricket world. Still he is the highest run scorer in international cricket. He is first and foremost batsman of unparallel ability. Early life Shachin was born in Dadar,Bombay. He was a member of Maharashtrian Rajapur Sarawsat Brahmin family. His father Ramesh Tendulkar was a novelist of Marathi. And his mother Rajni was an insurance industry worker. He has three elder siblings; two half brothers and one half-sister. They are Ramesh’s children by his first wife. His first wife died after the birth if third child. In early life Shachin used to play with his elder brother Ajit in a local team of Bandra East. After that he went Sarasdashram Vidyamandir High School at Dadar. This was a very popular renowned school to produce many notable cricketers. At the age of 14 in 1987 he attended to MRF place foundation in Madras to train as a fast bowler. But Dennise Lilee who was an Australian fast bowler was unimpressed and suggested to focus on batting. After few months Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar gave him a pair of his ultra light pads and consoled him not to be disappointed. Sunil Gavaskar was the idol of Shachin’s cricket life.

Tendulkar made his first international test debut against Pakistan in Karachi in 1989. He was then only 16 years old. At the early age of 20, from 1994 to 1999 his performance coincided with his physical peak. He made his first ODI century on 9 September in 1994 against Australia team. In 1996 World Cup he scored two centuries and then he was the only batsman who performed well in semi-final against Sri Lanka. In 1998 in Australian tour Tendulkar made three centuries which was the begging period at the top of the batting world. In 2003 World Cup he scored 673 runs in 11 matches which helped the Indian team to reach the final. 2011 was winning the World Cup of Tendulkar’s life against Sri Lanka.

Tendulkar scored his 100th international centuries in 2012 against Bangladesh at Mirpur Stadium in Bangladesh. At the same year he announced his retirement from ODI. Shachin Tendulkar scored more than 30,000 runs in international cricket life. He was a right hand batsman. He is the first Indian and 16th player of scoring 50,000 runs. Still he is the only holder of 100th centuries in ODI. He has been 13th time man of the match and 4 time man of the tournament in test match. In ODI he was 62 times man of the match and 15 times man of the series. To give him honor Britain made Tendulkars Wax Statue in Madam Tussauds, London. Shachin Tendulkar’s wife is Anjali Tendulkar. He always feels shy to discuss his personal life. From love at first site, at first he saw Anjali in airport and felt in love with her. He has a daughter named Sara Tendulkar.
