ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule and Team Squads: The ICC has finalized the schedule and format for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. After discussions between the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) and BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India), a hybrid model has been confirmed for the tournament. It will be played in February and March 2025, with matches hosted in Pakistan and a neutral venue, likely the UAE. India’s group-stage matches and any knockout games they qualify for will be played at the neutral venue.
Interestingly, the ICC also confirmed that the hybrid model will be used for Pakistan’s matches in ICC events hosted by India, such as the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 and the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Additionally, there are discussions about organizing a tri-series or a four-team T20I tournament featuring India and Pakistan to compensate for the financial impact of the hybrid model.
